Hopslam 2018

I love pilsners, so calling it a pilsner isn't a kick in the nuts, per se. But a DIPA shouldn't have more in common with a pilsner than a DIPA. I've been drinking it since 2006 as well. As someone stated above, perhaps it's just bad cans? I have another six pack but I'm afraid to open it to be honest.

 

There is a shipping schedule on the Bell's website. I have been watching closely, since it a *sought after* allocation. Just picked up a case canned on 1/17/18. Will be sure to finish it fresh, as recommended.

 

I used to drink pilsners a year ago. This is not a pilsner or session. I find the 2018 hoppy, which I like, as compared to a DIPA balanced with too much malts.

 

Any Hopslam still hanging around SE MI? Preferably North Oakland?
Looking to get 2-5 sixers for a friend.

Value Center at 6 and Inkster (Livonia) had six packs left last night...dated 1/23/18. Not North Oakland but SE MI lol

I picked up my case yesterday at Holiday.
Seems there was another SE MI drop this week.
My cans were 1/24/18 fwiw

 

Lots of Hopslam nostalgia here. I do kinda miss the thrill of the hunt pre production ramp up. Just had a couple last night and even with the plethora of excellent DIPA's flooding the market Hopslam still holds up pretty well.
