Hopslam 5L mini kegs this year?

    Does anyone know if the 5L mini kegs of hopslam will be released again this year? I picked a couple up last year in mid-January, but have not seen or heard anything about them this year. I tried emailing Bell's a few days ago, but haven't heard back yet.

    EDIT: just came across a RB thread that says they won't be coming out this year. Anyone confirm?

    I was told no by a few different retailers, but that was about a month ago.

    They were going to, but then realized the beer was already stale when the fermenting process finished.

    Talking to a couple of Bell's employees a couple of months ago about the Hopslam mini kegs and they said no way every again, too many Hopslam Mini Kegs fight stories, lol.

    Some of us weren't on here two years ago. And hey, when a shop I trust says "We're getting mini kegs," I think it's fair to post/discuss about it on here. If nothing else, it's a prime example of how disorganized beer distribution is in Milwaukee.
