Anyone know about Binnys Willowbrook?

 

Skokie Binny's had at least one mini-keg, so I'd guess the others do too.

 

i wonder if any Meijer's in the suburbs will get any of this.

 

What's the dates in these bad boys?

 

Any limits at the Binnys or any other major stores?

 

Just grabbed a couple 6-packs at Famous in Forest Park ($19.99...ouch, but it saved me from having to drive an additional 30 minutes round-trip to the closest Binnys). They had 2 mini-kegs on the floor at $43.95.

I'd try this Binny's....looks to be just a couple miles from O'Hare towards the city.

PSA: hearing reports that the mini kegs are overcarbed. People getting 8-9 12 oz pours on average (should get around 14). Has spooked two Binny's beer managers I spoke with today into ordering fewer or none at all.

 

Binny's Bloomingdale had limit of 1 six pack.

 

01/21/16 on the 6 pack I got.

 

Binny's Skokie had at least 20 cases and 1 mini keg on the floor as of 20 minutes ago. 17.99 per 6 pack, 44.99 I think for the keg. Limit 1 case per person. My cans are dated 1/21/16 as well.

 

I called Binny's Algonquin and they gave the canned response of "It will be here the week of Feb 1st". Not so sure I trust that though seeing as everyone else seemed to have gotten theirs already

 

Not all Binnys are on the same route and day drops, so I think you'll be safe trusting them. They aren't trying to blatantly lie to you

 

I dont think they were trying to lie, its just what they've been told by corporate to say. If it wasn't a canned response I feel like they would have said "Next week"

 

They aren't blatantly lying. I was at the Binnys on Grand and they are getting their shipment next week, too.

For now, the LP Binnys on Clark was stocked to the gills with the stuff as of an hour ago.

You had me confused there, as the LP Binny's is actually doing an event on Wednesday for it. Clark location had a bunch last year and I was able to grab a whole case without a problem.

 

Thanks for the heads up. Still a stack of cases there. Larry mentioned in the other thread they made over 10k barrels this year (significantly more than last year he added) so it should be pretty easy to get around here.

 

Havent really seen any kegs which is all i want.
