Hopslam in Florida?

    I am in North Alabama Hopslam has come and gone here, but I noticed in a thread this morning that someone said that they were waiting for it to get to Jacksonville. My parents live in Tallahassee, I was wondering if any of you knew if it was getting shipped down there, or if it has already come and gone as well?

    Not sure about bottle distro but I was told by a local bar owner that some bars around Jacksonville had kegs as of last week. I don't personally know which bars had/have it. I know stores in the Sarasota area already got their bottles and sold out. Mr beerys just cracked a keg and got a bunch of bottles in.

    Gainesville got their shipment yesterday. I think Tampa and Orlando stores got their allocation last Friday

    Distro in Jax is handled by Champion Brands for Bell's beers. I haven't seen kegs or bottles for Hopslam yet in our area. The only consolation is there's still plenty of Lagunitas Sucks up here.

    May want to check the dates on those bottles... I stopped in at Proof late last summer and they still had HopSlam from the previous release in the cooler at the downstairs bar.... Needless to say I didn't buy any

    Wards in Gainesville just got a batch of hopslam in.

    Why would the distributor sit on the hopslam this long?

    A store here in central FL just got a case from the 1/28 batch. The hops have faded a bit but still good.
