Thought I'd go ahead and start this thread since I know Hopslam has hit Southern IN. Just want anyone to post sightings in the Louisville area so we all can get our fill this year.

Maybe a dumb question, but how hard will this be to find in Louisville?

Shouldn't be bad. I'm planning on hitting middletown LB around noon because that's usually when the Beerhouse boys show up.

There was a bunch of it around last year for easily a week, so I can't imagine it's going to be terribly tough.

Hopslam is officially in Louisville. The Middletown Liquor Barn had a handful of the 5L mini kegs if anyone is looking for those in particular. $39.99 a piece. 6 pack cans were $18.99.

Granted this is for Louisville but is any of the other places in Lexington getting it today besides beer trappe?

All the liquor barns in Lexington should have it as well. Should've been a store wide release today.

Well some of the LB in lexington had it. I grabbed a six pack but damn, they are price gouging. A buddy of mine in PA got it for 16.99. It is 18.99 here! WTF

You're buddy got a good price in PA. MSRP is actually around $18 so LB is only a dollar above that. it's selling for $18.50 in southern IN and the Bell's general store sold 6 packs for $18.75. So we're really on par with most markets. It's definitely a pricey beer, and whether or not it's worth it is your opinion. I for one am willing to splurge on a few six packs of it once a year when it comes out.

Yeah well I can't hate it too much. 18.99 for a six pack is expensive but this beer is special

Pretty sure the mini-kegs are gone everywhere in Louisville. Surprising how fast those things go. Checked multiple spots today...cans only at this point.

Lexington Beerworks had two six packs this morning and were supposed to be getting more later today.

If you read the website, this year's release is not available in bottles. Only cans and the mini-keg for retail sales.

Stopped by LB Springhurst at lunch and there's a ton of it in the beer section, in case anyone is still looking.
