    Honestly, it's like that with a lot of things in my opinion. I can think of numerous times we were way behind in distro. Something as simple as Victory takes forever to get down here.

    Is that just DC? I was just in WF Arlington and heard first week Feb. The shop that I go to on a regular basis in Falls Church were thinking sometime this week. If shipping started around Jan 19th I would think it would be here sometime before mid-Feb.

    Crooks is definitely a tad strong. Overpriced isn't strong enough. Go to Dominion Beer and Wine and save yourself the trouble. Those guys are legit, and their growler fill prices can't be beat.. like $8 bucks for 32oz Fresh Squeezed

    I know Dominion. But as I noted every place has its pros and cons. I recognize that Westover has its issues but it has some pluses that keep it on my list.

    I actually found a bottle of Double Jack two weeks ago with a bottle date of 1/9/15. This was in Harris Teeter. It was pretty surprising.

    Holy shit this. I've been looking for the past year for Double/Wookie/Union Jack that wasn't 3-4 months old and I finally stumbled across the 1/9 batch at the teeter in Pentagon City last week. I nearly shit myself. Firestone reps out here need to get on top of the situation out here it's ridiculous.

    Also PSA for those of you in the area if you are looking for Black Butte XXVI there 3 cases of it just sitting there for weeks by the eggs at Pentagon City Harris Teeter $14.99 each. Also Pentagon City Costco has $5.99 32s of Sucks.

    I used to always be blown away at how looked over Lost Dog on Columbia was too for bottles to go.

    K-1 always feels like a secret though, at least when you are in there perusing the shelves. Maybe its the fact that I am usually the only person in the store NOT buying lotto tickets, but it feels like I have the beer all to myself.

    NYC has been receiving bottles dated 1/17. Hopefully the batch we receive is a little bit fresher, but it's all out of our control. Hypeslam'd.
