Hopslam in NOVA (northern Virginia/ DC)

It is not convenient what so ever

 

See you need to do what my friends and I do and make a beer-excursion out of it. On the newest release every other month, we drive out to DC Brau to hang out for a bit and get our haul of OTWOA, then usually swing by Church Key or another DC beer destination for a few more beers. Always ends up resulting in a damn good time.

 

Besides TW, has anyone seen it anywhere else? WF Arlington last night tricked me and put everything out at around 8pm after I left. Pretty sure they had it on hand all day. I gotta pick up a 6er for a co-worker. He's never experienced the Hypeslam before.

They said last night that it will sell out. I asked them today and haven't heard anything. I got there at 6pm last night, but they didn't put it out until 8pm. Fuckers.

 

Dominion Wine and Beer in Falls Church has it in. $19.99 a sixer!

 

Nice! That's who I was waiting for to get it in. My favorite shop in the area. Do you know how much they got in?

 

Not sure really but they got it today so betting there is still some left.

 

Bell Wine & Spirits on M Street has it for $20.99. Not sure how much they got, they have it in the back so you have to ask.

 

For all you Norm's folks, FB update states Hopslam is in. 1 sixer per

 

Walked into Whole Foods Arlington and the beer manager said that Hopslam only lasted 12 hours. Right as I was about to check out with some sushi he walked up and said "hold on". About a minute later he walked out with a 6 pack of Hopslam, but man is it expensive at Whole Foods

 

Norm's sold out 20 cases in no time.

Total Wine in McLean VA had it in stock at 8PM 2/11.

 

Who agrees that Rodman's price gouging ($26.99 per sixer) is quite ironic given their Facebook "Cover Photo"? (Stating that back whenever Rodman's would "Meet or Beat any Advertised Price - Only Rodman's Dares")

 

Whole Foods Arlington said they are doing a Hopslam tasting event on March 7th

 

Rodman's, the Westover Market of Washington D.C.!

 

They put it out at 6pm exactly, got there at 6:15 exactly....gone lol. They had some extras for tasting events and sold me one, which I thought was pretty cool of them. They always try and hook up their regular customers over there. Picked up some of that 40 Mile IPA by Three Notch'd as well. It's most likely better than the Hypeslam.

 

tots agree...if only I could get OTWOA at the local TW.

 

Hey I'm traveling down to Arlington from Upstate NY on Friday 2/13/15. The Wegmans Grocery near me has about 12 cases of Hopslam if anyone wants some. There is no limit on what you can buy at Wegmans
