Hopslam shipping soon

Expect to pay $18-24 per six pack, depending on the markup in your area. Up here in Kentucky, we got two huge waves of it in town last year, all the hopheads got their fill. Hopefully we are as blessed this year.

 

Living in Louisville, I've never had a problem getting Hopslam. I can literally go to any one of the stores I normally go to and find it on the shelf.

 

Speaking of KY does anyone know when it will land in Bowling Green next week? I am going to be going up there from TN and would like to try to get some.

 

It will not be in KY until February according to the KY distributor.

 

Thinking about driving up from Nashville for this as well.

 

Okay, I was going off of Bell's Hopslam release information on their site that it would be in KY the week of Jan 26.

 

First or second week of February date came from distributor.

 

Anybody got a KY (Bowling Green) update on arrival date. I saw where Southern IN got it in today. Just trying to make travel plans.

 

It hit the stores in Alabama today.

 

Might call up there on Saturday to see if they have it and make the trip.

 

Doesn't seem to be coming to the Shoals this year. Made me sad.

 

KY update. It is in distributors warehouse but will not ship until next week.

 

Seriously? That is ridiculous.

 

southern indiana got it yesterday (clarksville, new albany, etc)

 

Yeah gone in 30 mins at Hop City. People were packed in the place 30 minutes before it went on sale. They got a pretty good bit but that didn't seem to matter. Limit was one 6 pack per person.

 

Yeah...went crazy fast at Hopcity. I just happened to be in the right place at the right time for that one. I hope Im that lucky when it comes to the KBS release.

 

So it hit Tuscaloosa today, but supply is limited. Also had my first shitty experience with a store. In the three years I've been here I have spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars at Spirits. I've been in fairly regularly and asked about hop slam as I have a soft spot for being one of my first big craft beer loves. This includes yesterday when I went in, purchased some shelf beer, and asked about it again. At no point did he mention a list or anything, just telling me it would be in sometime this week. When I went back today, he said they had gotten it but it was all "spoken for" from his list. I don't care if he had a list, but think it is a tremendously dick move to not say something about it earlier. I'm done shopping there. I know the folks who run corks and tops sometimes get a bad rap but they have always been much fairer and more personable in my opinion.

 

Has anyone heard anything new about Kentucky getting Hopslam? I will be traveling through Bowling Green this week (from Tennessee), and want to schedule my trip so that I can pick some up.
