10oz pour for $7 = worth the money.

72oz for $20 = not worth the money?

if it was in $6 bombers people would go crazy for the value.

I guess distro is somewhat limited in my area so bottle shops rarely have sixers on the shelf. They usually break it out and sell singles similar to Bourbon county.

Worth the money? No. Worth a try once a year? Sure $7 or not, rather spend that than $19.

nope, PA & NYC get Bell's, so if someone wants that syrupy, malty mess they'll drive less than 40 minutes to go get it

What do you mean by syrupy, malty mess? It's the best beer in the world. Everyone says so. You must have got a BAD bottle.

Right. Idk why people think this beer is so expensive. It's about $.26/oz which puts it around $5.70/22 oz (read: bomber-size).

    For comparison:

Hop Stoopid (which, IMO, is an inferior beer) retails for $4.99 and everyone lauds that price. 32 ozs of Sucks at $7.99 works out to be just under $.25/oz. Hopslam's better than that one too, IMO (though not by much). Abrasive, meanwhile, is about $.25/oz ($15.99/4 pack of 16 oz cans). Pliny is $.35/oz (16.9 oz bottle @ $5.99). Heady comes in on the cheap at $.21/oz. I could go on, obviously.

tl;dr Bill's right, Hopslam isn't that expensive. Kudos to Bell's for not raising prices on it for a few years.

Pliny is $6 for 16oz bottle at WholeFoods in bay area or Toronado SF, if you ask nicely. $$16-20 a 6-pack is very reasonable considering "mass produced Sculpin" sells about $14.99 all around Cali. $BCBS was $25-$28 Black Friday a 4-pack at BevMo SF this year. HopSlam is great fresh in a bottle, enjoy friends!

I love the fact that Puerto Rico sees distribution but they can't bother sending stuff to Colorado... (or a bunch of other US states for that matter)
