Not expecting a lot of feedback on this one given the limited release (123 bottles). Any feedback on it so far? I'm looking forward to opening a bottle...though part of me just wants to hold on to it. Did speak to a Bluetarp rep who indicated batch 2 would be out in about a year.
I got a Hopster a bit earlier than most and already posted my review if you're interested. In short, I thought it was an excellent beer. Very coherent flavor considering how it was double hopped, oaked, and bretted. For such a big beer, it was extremely drinkable. But if you were lucky to score one, I'd go ahead and drink it soon. Treat it like a DIPA.
I read your review a few times since it was the only one I could find I did notice the label says to drink it right away. Glad you reminded me of this otherwise I would have held on to it.
