Horseheads Pumpkin Ale

    I'm trying to get some Horseheads Brewing Pumpkin Ale for my camping trip this weekend but can't find it anywhere in Rochester. I'm camping down in Letchworth, so if anybody knows of a place near there that might have it you would be helping out tremendously. I was thinking maybe somewhere in Geneseo, but I don't know what stores in town carry craft beer. Any help would be great. That stuff is gangbusters!

    If you are looking for craft in Geneseo, the two best spots are wegmans and the byrne dairy there. Both are the only two spots in that area that bring in the main craft distributor in upstate NY. Good selection at both those stores and both are on 20A.

    Yeah, I've checked Beers of the World, Nathaniel's Corner Store, and a couple Wegmans locations here in Rochester but no luck. Thanks for the suggestions, Lovindahops! I'm gonna swing in to the Geneseo and hit the Wegmans and the Byrne Dairy for one last try before we set up camp.

    From Horsehead's website it doesn't look like it's been bottled yet this year. At least they only list it as "on tap" in the tasting room and not "in bottles" like several others. I had a couple glasses out a restaurant last week and it was even better than I remembered.

    They actually signed with two distributors (seneca for southern tier and Owasco for the fingerlakes. It's in Senecas area already and Owasco is starting to distribute pumpkin next week. Owasco is also bringing some pumpkin ale to syracuse next week. I'm pretty excited to grab some bottles next week in cuse.

    FingerLakes Beverage in Ithaca just got 7 cases in this morning. In other news, they also have many many cases of FBS. BTW - this doesn't help the OP I'm aware, just creating awareness of where it's located.

    Won't help the OP either, but I found Horseheads Pumpkin bottles at Jolly Farmer in Waverly too. They had at least 3 or 4 cases on the floor and wouldn't surprise me if they had a bunch more in the back.

    It is bottled. I bought at the brewery 3weeks ago. Finger lakes has it a well. The only place in Rochester that carries horseheads is BotW and I haven't seen it yet. Your best bet is to call around CNY. HH has a list of stockists on their website.

    i wish we could get this in Jersey, the only pumpkin beer i would spend money on, as im not a big fan of the style
