Hi, I have some hoses connected together using these types of connectors (what are they called?) (this is the dropbox shared link to a smaller version of the image: https://www.dropbox.com/s/02vvz84h3pl9787/connector.jpg?dl=0) I know they are supposed to be able to disconnect, but how do I do that?
Is that any better? I've tried various versions of the link and those don't display the image, but the one I put there first does, at least for me).
It might be because you are signed in to your account. Here... ETA: @Brew_Betty beat me to it. But I'm leaving mine here anyway because it was such exhausting work.
Does that mean you weren't seeing the first image I posted either? What have you done differently to me? I need to understand this so that I can get it right next time.
Yes, I was not seeing the first image. In general (if a hosting service doesn't give you a function to automatically copy the image link), you can right click on the picture, click on "properties," then copy the Address (URL) from the box that pops up. Then paste that link in an "image" dialog box in your BA message.
Strange, because that's what I was doing. I've compared the URL that I was trying to post with the one you posted and can only see a difference in the size
Here's your first link... "https://photos-5.dropbox.com/t/2/AA...4n2nm-qOR9TnPlXx-50?size=1024x768&size_mode=3" Here's mine... "https://photos-5.dropbox.com/t/2/AA...sGP4R7fDcaYrmb0bsJ9c?size_mode=3&size=800x600" Notice that yours doesn't contain "connector.jpg." It does contain "IMG_20151202_162453370.jpg" which may be a reference that only exists temporarily, and while you're logged into the account that posted the image to dropbox. I got my link by clicking on your second link, then following the procedure outlined in my previous message. ETA: You'd probably find the process easier if you put your photo on a site that specializes in photo hosting. (Like Photobucket.)
The first link is actually the name of the original image, the second one with connector.jpg is the re-sized version of the original IMG_20151202_162453370.jpg. I'll look at photobucket for the next one, thanks
I found how I can detach the hoses from these things. You need to keep the movable joint up against the elbow while pulling the hose out. I found it easiest using a small spanner that fit around the hose.
Thanks, I've never heard that name for them before. I guess it's European/American terminology difference.
