How would she feel if you just bid on ONE of them?
Damn she said no.
What's more important?
I fully expect the 2nd bottle of Dave to go for more than the first because people will stop bidding up the first bottle and start over with the 2nd.
You've got lots of money right or a good credit card? You should buy one for our tasting
The worlds most expensive bottle of soy sauce.
Have you had Dave? Or maybe you drank the Triple Bock?
If it was 750ml, I'd consider splitting it for the tasting. But 375ml is $116 an oz....Yea...no...
Or you could just drink my Dave clone homebrew. ;-)
Did you bottle it in clear plastic and age it for 18 years?
Ha ha. It's actually bottled in similar glass bottles with these screw caps but only 15 months old so far. Here's a pic...
Brendan, you better save one of those for me.
Love it. SOD = Son of Dave?
Anyone here interested in splitting a split case?
Taken care of
Sweet Old Dave - iced from my Sweet Old Adam clone recipe.
HOTDiggityDog! I'll be there at 0500hrs with "hannont" likely bundled in my winter gear as its supposed to be around 35 degrees at that time! Woot!!
Anyone who's going to be AT the dock sale want to split a half case of Michael?
Anyone want to share a whole case of Michael that will be at the dock sale?
I'll be there and was looking to get a sixer. Let me know if you still need someone.
I will be there looking for a sixer of Michael too. maybe we can all work something out.
Anyone in for 1/3rd of a case? Myself and one other are in for 8btls each of caftw.
I may have a taker, but if not, I will let you know.
I think I found one too. Cheers!
michael, cherry adam, and claws available for drinking in the tasting room....they're terrible everyone should just not come out this saturday.
I'd be all over it (if you'd ship to me)
Already have a taker on the caftw split
While we're asking (apparently successfully) anyone going down from Seattle willing to bring some CAFTW back my way? Flexible on amount - sixer, 10, 12, whatever.
I have a magnum of 10 year old golden rose, the batch number is in the 30's so I think it was brewed around 2002. If there is no tasting friday night I will have it under my jacket in the line saturday morning, so bring a glass for some liquid breakfast (if there is no tasting friday night).
Anyone want to split a split case of CAftW and Michael... with a Texan?! Seriously though, let me know and maybe we can work something out.
Ill have a small tasting glass with me for sure. Liquid breakfast sounds great!
oh dear, are people going to show up with big poofy jackets with beer and taster glasses hidden inside?!
going forward, we will refer to puffer jackets as taster jackets
I'm imagining down-filled smoking jackets.
Is drinking in line frowned upon? Can we get kicked out of line or in trouble? Any feedback will be appreciated. I'm coming up from Cali but don't get in until midnight so I won't be able to make any bottle shares. But I would love to bring some high abv bottles to keep us warm in line.
How about leaving that bottle at home, or in your car. Alan doesn't have the rights to have people drinking on public sidewalks. He has mentioned in the past that drinking in the line is not allowed. If people start drinking in line and get caught, Alan could get in trouble as well. Lets respect the brewer on this one.
As in most places, public drinking is not permitted.
I think it was worth asking. There are bottle releases where people are allowed to drink in line. Not everyone knows whether it is permitted or not or if things have changed. I had assumed it was probably not allowed but things and times do change.
Cheers and see you all at the break of dawn.
Damn, so my CamelBak with Black Tuesday will have to stay in the hotel room.
I take it there isn't a corkage-free hang out in Portland that could accommodate a number of people for sharing? It seems a lot of people are ready to share stuff.
