HOTD Matt

I did it 1:1 with beatification. You will not be disappointed. I also liked the bottleworks version slightly better then just matt FYI. Little more barrel flavor and less smoky.

Bottleworks X, I believe.

 

It is called matt, but has the bottleworks x under the name matt. The other label just says matt.

FYI -- There's supposedly another release happening later this year. Not sure when, but if I had to guess, I'd say sometime during the beginning of November.

 

The Bottleworks version says "Bottleworks X" in the triangle shape and the next version says "2010 version" or something like that. I've only had the 2010 release and it's amazing so don't fret if you have to "settle" for that version OP. It's an incredible beer.

 

I have only had the 2010 version and it is my favorite HotD beer by far. I have heard some guys from my tasting group say the Bottleworks version is no where near as good as the 2010.

 

Oxidation is taking over Bottleworks X, unfortunately. It's not what it was, which is a damn shame.

 

I recently had both versions of Matt side by side and 2010 was clearly better than Bottleworks X.
