It's worth looking at the dates on the reviews. I think it's pretty widely acknowledged that the first batch of Peach Fred in Nov 2010 was pretty sub-par, although nowhere near as bad as the Apricot Fred abomination of the same time period (*). Subsequent batches of Peach Fred (which, btw, might or might not be exactly the same beer; I'm not clear if all versions have been bourbon aged or not) have been markedly better, IMO, although definitely not in the top tier of HOTD's beers. (And, FWIW, I don't think I've encountered a batch which was better than any draft Bourbon Fred batch, so I'm pretty sure the peaches just don't add anything positive to this beer.)

(*) I also want to raise the possibility that Arbitrator screwed up and was actually reviewing Apricot Fred, which was an acetone bomb. No one else seems to have noted acetone in that batch of Peach Fred, and I don't recall it either.

This is true. Carbonation is just right, and the beer is absolutely glorius. Twas most difficult prying myself away after but a single glass today (but alas, I have to work tomorrow, and so have the lovely drive back to Eugene in front of me), and it may be necessary to stop by anon.

For any locals who were curious: Yes, Californians are prohibited from using definite articles like "the" in haiku in the Northwest discussion forum. (No diggity.)

    Carry on.

To be fair, your car is pretty nice. I would think you'd have to use something like a Cable Car at a minimum.
