I have always stayed at the Aloft but they don't have double beds at this time. Does anyone else have suggestions? The Brewvival website hasn't been updated yet.
Just booked the Econo Lodge around the corner on Saul White Blvd. 2 Queen Beds I think. Might be 2 double beds. Pretty cheap but really good reviews on Trip Advisor. Apparently it was just renovated. According to the Brewvival folks, there is a gymnastics competition in town that weekend so they were not able to get any hotels to offer special rates.
We stayed at the Aloft last year. Things got pretty rowdy late night. This year we are staying up the road at the Hampton Inn. It looks like many in the Tanger Outlets area have jacked their rates for that weekend.
In general, I would say avoid cheap hotels in North Charleston. Phosphate area and Tanger Outlet area would be your best bets.
