Any suggestions on reasonable priced hotels in Bend. I have a free weekend at the end of Feb and plan making the trip over the pass. Last time was years ago and i did The Red Lion it was OK and it looks good priced right now. Anything better near the core?
I unfortunately do not have a spare bedroom, so I can only suggest http://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/best-place-to-stay-in-bend.93854/
My group did AirBnB and got a 2 different houses late last year... 1 for $85ish a night (a block away from Boneyard) and the other for $115/night (3 blocks away from Boneyard). I was skeptical at first, but I don't know that I will ever stay in hotels if I don't have to anymore.
We always do AirBNB when in Bend. Great deals and locations to be had. We're staying in a house right on Mirror Pond next weekend.
KInda curious about AirBNB but i like a nice swimming pool befire and after i go out on the town..so its narrowed down to hotels in non camping season
I said Phoenix Inn last time and I'm sticking to it. Nice and within walking distance of many places. It's definitely where I'll stay the next time I make my way down to the best beer destination in the US.
Air BnB can't be beat for prices/amenities, but Wall Street Suites is a fantastic hotel/motel that's a few blocks away from Deschutes Brewpub, as well as right along the river. Super nice rooms, very modern.
We've got a three bedroom right on Mirror Pond with a hottub and super ridiculous close walking to Deschutes, Bend Brewing, Silver Moon and Crows Feet. Air BNB is great. We've also used it in Osaka, Tokyo and Amsterdam and never been disappointed.
Wat. Nice (indoor) swimming pool and hotel (in central Oregon no less) don't even belong in the same sentence. Rent a house and take a bath man.
