I'm in Houston for work. Staying on the east side near Katy. Any good craft focus bottle shops?

HEB and Whole Foods here are spot on and have everything I need. Also, Spec's and Total Wine in Cinco Ranch.

Last week walked into HEB and there were 5 cases of BCBS stacked up, $10.99/ea., no limit.

Total Wine's website is pretty spot on with what is in stock. Specs online is good, but doesn't get into the details on seasonals and one offs. But I assume you are staying on the west side, near Katy. Can you give a street you are staying off of?

I went to growler usa in Katy last night. I guess I'm not as close as I thought. I'm in Westchase.

ha yeah katy sounds good though. Check out Ashford Pub, good tap list, you can check it out on TapHunter (they have 2017 KBS on tap), I actually live in North West Houston and drove there last nite with a friend, we also hit up Kings Head which is right down the road, not sure where you are from but Kings Head had Yellow Rose on tap along with Celis White, only notable things. If you get on Westheimer and head west, you will find a Specs right past Kirkwood on the right, pretty decent selection there. There is a Total Wine up at Memorial, right inside the beltway that probably has a better selection, and you can look at what they have online. There is a Yard House that is close to where you are at, over at the corner of I10 and the Beltway 8. If you are not opposed to driving you can head closer to the inner loop where there are more choices. Have fun while you are here.

Trader Joe’s. You can pluck one of each beer from their six packs.

There’s not much else I can recommend in that part of town. FWIW

You said "east side" near Katy - Im confused?

Either way, if you find yourself in the Galleria area, the Whole Foods on PO & San Felipe brews their own beer. This is a unique, in-store concept exclusive to this specific location. Get a crowler fill of their freshest IPA and you'll be happy.

    CHEERS!

This is slightly off topic so my apologies in advance. I’m going to be in Houston next month and I’m hoping to snag some Live Oak Hefe and Pils to take home. Where can find this in Southwest Houston / Bellevue area? Is live oak hefe pretty available? The purpose of my trip is to visit family not bee chasing, so I’m hoping to get the beer with minimal fuss if possible.

Live Oak Hefe is very easy to find. Any Specs, and most HEB's and Krogers will have it.
