Do Southern Star, St Arnold, and Karbach brewing have taprooms? I'd like to stop and get growlers to add to my collection while I'm in town. I noticed that St Arnold serves lunch and I'm hoping they have growlers as well. Thanks in advance...

Sorry guys should have googled it first. Can't sell beer directly to customers at the brewery.

There are currently bills in the Senate that, if passed, will allow Breweries to have taprooms.

But no growlers IIRC, only pints onsite.

Although not a brewery, hay merchant has a nice growler.

All TX brewery growlers I've seen have been in conjunction with local bars/eateries. Guru Burger just did one with Saint Arnold. 512 did one with Hay Merchant.

Just pints? They can't sell bottled beer?

Nope. Now you see why most of the new legislation was meh.

Wow and here I thought that included bottled beer. That's stupid. Didn't really gain as much as I thought then.

Yep, on-site consumption only. But at least brewpubs like Freetail can start distributing outside of San Antonio.
