Clear lake has nothing though. Downtown and the heights already have hay merchant, petrol station, etc.

That is the thing, they aren't selling the beer. They are selling the membership or say an empty pint glass. The beers are just given out at membership only events. The big problem is the initial travel funds to do it, but I bet if they setup a specific number of 'members' they could easily satisfy them with 3 or 4 tastings a year and could expand based off of word of mouth. Maybe by that time something will have been done with the stupidity that is the TABC

OK, I understand what you are saying. I had mis-read your previous post, I thought you were talking about sales. I would be interested in participating in a members only bottle tastings. It would be great to get the opportunity to try beer not available in Texas outside of having to trade for them.

Yes.. even the Specs locations down here pale compared to those in Houston... not much competition at all...

I think a craft beer store/bottle store with growler fills would do so well down here. There aren't even many good bars... Boondoggles is ok, but pales in comparison to what you can get in Houston.

As license holders, they could not bring cases of "illegal" beer onto the business premises. That's what bottle shares are for...getting to try stuff we couldn't normally try and sharing it with the community.

Distribution differs per county. There is a lot that is out of bar/store owners hands as to what they can get their hands on in Galveston County vs. Harris County.

Does boondoggles have craft beer now? I really haven't been in a while. I remember the pizza though
