If you are like me, and family is 1000 miles away, come and join me for our regular Mothers Day tasting. May 10th at The Gingerman, 1:30 Bring something the bar does not have, buy something from the bar, and tip well On a side note, we tried to schedule the Afternoon of Funk tasting at the Saucer, but unfortunately we can't have it there. I have not had a chance to contact D&T Drive Inn yet, but I am sure we can have it there. If people want to be outside that is. It could be starting to bet really hot, or be perfect temps, so it is up to you guys (I am fine with it either way). It is short notice now, but I originally wanted to do it on May 24th. Any later, and we will be melting outside, though it won't be the first time Discus here, or on Sunday. Hope to see some people out if you have time between seeing the family.
The Mother's Day Share is one of my favorites, but sadly I won't be able to make it this year. Even though I once again craftily planned my Mother's Day Brunch to be early enough to make the share, this year I have to fly back to NYC at around 3pm. (I'm in NYC now too. I'm literally home only for Mother's Day.) I'll go drink at the Gingerman NYC to make up for it. And personally I vote against May 24 but only because I'll probably have to miss that date. Though, May 31 is in fact worse.
