Houston Gingerman Tasting + Style Tasting detials

    Our regular scheduled tasting is a go for Sunday.

    At The Gingerman
    Sunday Sept 13th, at 1:30

    Like always, bring something the bar does not have, buy something from the bar, and tip well.

    Also, I have scheduled our Ye Olde Old Ale Bottle Share at D&T Drive Inn. October 25th :slight_smile: The event page is below. In about a week or so, I will create its own thread, but just wanted to get the word out now. This is always my favorite tasting of the year. Old Ales, English Barleywines, Scotch Ales, or any other English Strong Ales.

    Maybe this is a place to ask, but if any of you old ale enthusiasts have a few extra 2010 and 2011 sisyphus bottles you'd let loose of, get back at me. For some dumb reason I want to have a "years I've lived in Texas" vert to crack if I move away at a party or something.

    I have a handful of 08 and 09 Sisyphus, and I am sure some 2010 and 2011 if I look harder. Though I don't think people are grasping the Old Ale part, or are being obtuse about it :slight_smile:

    heh, i figured people who were into old ales were probably into barleywines as well, and would be my target audience to have some aged ones kicking around. i am quite familiar with the style :wink:.
