I did not see this posted yet.

Houston Tasting at the Gingerman, Sunday August 12th. 1:30.

Bring something the bar does not have, or some snacky things to share. Buy something from the bar and tip well.

I am 90% sure I will be there this time, if not everyone have fun.

I'd love to do this, but it's my week with the kiddo. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

I'd be interested in seeing if Ben at Petrol would host a BA bottle share.

We have had them at Petrol before. I am sure we will have one up there again sometime. We have kept it at the Gingerman because it is easy and a routine now. They set up tables, give us glassware and water, and when we first started it was easier for most people to get to. If anyone wants to spread the tasting around they are free to do it. Just contact them/set it up and let us know.

Don't worry; large-format Russian River bottles always acceptable. However, not letting me know ahead of time so I can be there: unacceptable.

    lol

I can't even afford the small ones! I'm just getting my feet wet with sours. I also need to take a trip up north to stock up on good stuff for shares. Actually I probably don't. I have way too much already... or do I?

What was real fun was when we had six show up and everyone brought enough for 16, there are pictures they were bad.

well, in theory you should bring the same number of bottles either way... you just get less of each beer. But I may bring different beers if it's a smaller crowd than a bigger crowd.

I'm definitely in on this. Looks like my brother will be along for the ride, too. Lots of tasty things came home with us from Chicago. What to bring, what to bring...
