Two Hearted and Centennial can be had for $8 in some places nearby, but I have seen both for close to $10.

I paid $13 for ONE BOTTLE of BCBS at Churchkey in DC and it was worth every penny. That was six months ago and I haven't come across it since. Gotta strike while the iron's hot.

I don't now where you were traveling, which would significantly affect the prices. BCBS costs that much in some parts of the country. Around here, I only saw it at one store where it was sitting on the shelf for weeks at $22. Then it was gone--none since.
RuinTen I got for $7.99 in CT. Never mind the CA Costco price--you are not going to match it anywhere. Since I got mine, I've seen it for $8.99 and $9.99 in MA. No cheaper.

The 6ers all look about right +/- $1. Don't think you were ripped off on any of them. Could you get them cheaper? Yes, but you would probably spend a lot of time on the phone and more money on gas. Just enjoy!

PS: One other thing: at those prices, I would have skipped the Centennial. There is so much more you can get at the same price level (including the other two you got!).

Genuine questions: what made you think you got screwed? If you thought the prices were to high, why did you pay them?

you're not out of the ballpark with any of those prices. I'll pay 24.99 for a 4 pack of BCBS all day long. That's 6.50 for a 12oz pour of an awesome beer and many people pay $5-6 all day long for pints of BMC at bars. Put in the right perspective and move on.

Careful with that perspective thing, or else you'll realize that with the money for that four pack you could have fed dozens of people in famine-struck countries.

Those are all similar to the prices I see in Boston. Bell's and DC Brau do not distribute here but those seem like the normal competitive prices if they were sold here.

The only one that seems maybe a bit high is the BCBS, and only by a few bucks. I would happily snatch up a couple 4-packs at that price right now considering in NJ it was hard to get more than 2 bottles the week it was released!

Seconded. I wouldn't flinch at any of those prices in Boston. You did fine.

"Founders Centennial IPA bottled approx 45 days ago not a big hop flavor but it was a different more floral less citrusy than I expected -maybe centennial hops? If so hadnt had many brews with that variety
    PAID $11.99/ 6 pack"

Great guess. Centennial IPA uses Centennial hops, but I'm guessing you HAVE had many brews with those hops.

Normal price for bcbs is $22-25. $18 is a steal. Never seen it that cheap in the last 3 years around Chicago.

Everything looks close to what we have here in CT. Maybe I'll see Founders for $10.99...the RuinTen I found for $7.99.
