None of it looks totally ridiculous - never bought BCBS though. the others are about $1 more than what I would pay

All of those are standard prices for DC. Crap is expensive here.

OP: look at it this way, had you plboight in VA you may have save 5% but had you bought in Montgomery county you would have paid and extra 20% or more

If it's beer you can't normally get, you did fine. It was all marked up a buck or two over what you'd find it for 'normally' but those are prices most people would happily pay to purchase beers they can't normally buy!

    cheers and enjoy your brews!

So, his post said he read about them but have never tried them. You would not try a beer you had read good things about over $1?

Come on people, is a dollar more or less even worth posting about? If the prices are in the 10% ballpark that seems plenty close enough to me.

As long as you can afford it, Buy it. Drink it. Be happy.

Yup. $12 for a 6 pack is pretty average. I paid $25 for BCBS in the city and $22 out in the burbs.

I'm saying I could get each of what he listed (except for the BCBS) for a dollar less than what he listed, so his prices don't look totally ridiculous.

Come on "BigStein," is your post worth it at all? Did you even answer the OPs original post?

    Fucking troll

If anything, you got a GOOD!!! deal.

BCBS is spot on price, which is already a great deal.
Two Hearted- Do not get here, but I would pay $17 a sixer here for it. (Sculpin price)
    Centennial- Goes for $14 here.
Ruinten- Good deal. I've seen it up to $10.49 here.

I have no clue what people are smoking thinking that you got ripped off.

got confused by the "$1 more than I would pay" part, apparently you meant "$1 more than I typically pay". My bad. No need to get so upset. Mistakes get made.

I think I answered what I thought of the deal with my last line. I would buy it, drink it, and be happy.

Livingston Bottle King got probably 4-5 cases over the course of a couple months. There was basically a 4 pack on the shelf there for the entire time.

Jesus! You must be in the City... Those are some nutty prices--even for Boston. We get no Bell's, but I've had it in Wisconsin. At that cost, I'd switch to something else, no matter how much I like it. But RuinTen I've seen as high as $11 here, even though I bought it cheaper. And my local shops all charge $9.

wait, are you in downstate ny, or upstate? I don't think I ever saw a 4/pk of bcbs for under $24 (on LI)....

I can only speak on the BCBS, Centennial and RuinTen.

BCBS is always 24.99 a 4 pack near me. No real rip there. Theres a store a few towns for me that has a ton at 35 a 4 pack, and no one is buying them.

Centennial is around 10.99-12.99 around me.

RuinTen I bought for 8.99 which I thought was a good price, and that was in Boston on Newbury Street. I know there were places around my area that had it up to 12.99 because of how little was allocated to MA.

That's nowhere near me, but I'll keep that in mind in the future if I'm in the area!

Bells Two Hearted I can get for $8.99 in AZ. RuinTen looks about right if only $1 more. But I am in AZ and I am sure prices will differ depending on the State.
