I have a bottle of port barrel aged barley wine (Burnside 2012 white out), and it looks like there is mold at the top inside the bottle. I will obviously open it at some point, but wondered how common this is, or if it's possible at all when it's waxed. Sediment at the bottom makes sense. None of my other bottles have this. Thoughts?

    Here's a bad pick:

I would be leery if it's mold... I doubt it is, but I've seen wild things before.

I've seen this before, its likely just particulates that made their way from the barrel to the bottle. Should drink just fine, you'll only be able to know for sure by cracking it open though.
