I was young, hustlin illicit herbs, had too much money, so I got bored of budweiser and bought some Finestkind IPA.

Went to a friends place and all he had at the time was old rasputin and 90 minute... i never did ask him how he ended up with that on that specific day. Normally he would have a 30 of something or some corona at best.

I drank Saranac way back in 1998. Back then it was "micro" but it really wasn't. I knew it tasted better than bud or whatever. And back then magic hat was big where I went to college.

I rarely drank as I got older but would usually get Saranac or Sierra nevada.

And probably 4 years ago I started to try more beers as I noticed them on shelves.

Then I found dogfish head and thought it was at a whole new level. And today, I'll try almost anything.

All these years, I have really sought out tasty bears with little to no bitterness inn the taste profile.

Well i always enjoyed drinking different beers. But i just recently started taking it to a complete new level. I would say it was when i was introduce that untappd app that allowed you to share your drinking with friends and rate beer. Then i discovered this website shortly after and it was a wrap. Its so much more than just picking up a random beer while at the packie. Now its developed into a hobby where i enjoy just going to stores just to see what they have for beer whether im buying them or not.

I can't remember. I remember my first Samuel Adams Boston Lager in the early 90s, but wasn't ready to be impressed. Heavy Seas in the Baltimore area with their Marzen and Gold are my earliest memories - this is the now the late 90s. Gold became my favorite for a time. They were Clipper City in those days. Somewhere in there I tasted stout, porter and winter warmers. No going back after that.
