    I will tell you whats annoying having 15-20 cases of beer stacked in my spare room. One day I will organize all of it.......one day.

    I have a super deep cubby closet in my bedroom. It stays really dark and is always 50-60 degrees. It's a little small, but I don't have a whole lot right now. I only have about 20 bottles and the space could probably hold about 50

    When I lived back in MA I had a nice basement with great temps at all times. Now living here in San Diego because most places out here dont have basements I use my closet. It is actually not to bad though. Temp is around 60-62 degrees and is nice and dark.

    Put some shelves and doors on a recessed area in the basement. Stays a constant 53* year round. Looking to add additional shelves since I'm currently at capacity. Also have shelves in the garage for use during the winter and a dedicated 5 CU Ft. beer fridge for storing the garage beer in the summer.

    I had to go with a second refrigerator set at 50 degrees +. In this part of the country basements are rare and in the summertime it costs too much to cool houses much below 78. Summer closets are dark...and hot.

    I have a 4 pack hidden in the very back of my closet behind an old lamp to keep me away from it. Kind of hard to find room in a one bedroom apt. Im gonna hide some more things in the other side of the closet as well as the back of my pot cupboard. wherever I can hide things so I wont drink them.

    Rent space with two other BAs at a wine storage place. We have a locker with two shelves in a room that stays at 55°F year round. Well worth the $5 a month it cost($15 split 3 ways), plus they always have all the styro shippers I want for trading. I also have a built in wine fridge here at the house I am monopolizing.

    I know this is kind of an old thread, but I added a google sketchup drawing a while ago of an idea I had. Well, after a ton of procrastination, it's almost done.

    Here are the plans: [IMG]

    and the (almost) final product.

    Needs a bit of wood filler, sanding and shellac, but overall, I'm pretty happy. It's getting installed in my basement later this week and getting filled up asap.

    @BeerThursdays. Looks good man!

    I cellar in empty liquor boxes in the storage of my apartment unit. Not ideal but has worked thus far. Everything long-term (mostly lambic/gueze and being aged for over 5 years) is in my parent's basement on a set of wooden shelves. Also, I have started temporarily moving my brews out of boxes and into my stomach where they belong...I don't want to end up being one of those BA's that posts pics of a ton of once awesome beers that are now rotting away in their basement.

    Two wine coolers at home and an off-site locker at a wine cellar nearby. There are a few others who also cellar beer there.

    Thanks to my brother-in-law's backhoe, I now cellar my beer 7 feet underground. It's pretty much perfect. Stays a cool ~53 degrees F year round AND I'm not tempted to drink my stash! I just hope the earthworms don't get too thirsty :sunglasses:

    Dark basement closet that floats around 62-70 year round. Right now I just have one beer case that holds 12 oz bottles and the larger bottles get stacked next to it. I was at around 150 bottles last year, now I'm down to 30ish. I do have a few gueuzes laying in a wine cooler for long term storage though.
