I'm just curious because I see some really good shots around here.

I use an iPhone X with portrait mode and upload my photos to Instagram and Facebook

Portrait mode really makes the beer shots look good IMO

I recommend signing up to Imgur. It is a fairy easy and efficient image hosting app/site.

Once you get on and upload a photo use the Linked BBCode for message boards from the computer or the easy copy and paste from the app.

I use Imgur.com too for inserting a pic in a forum thread. After uploading to Imgur, copy the Direct Link to your clipboard and then use the Image button on the edit menu (just right of the smiley face) to insert the pic into the thread where you've placed your cursor.

If you want to upload a pic of a specific beer or building pic onto the Place's page, you can upload that from your desktop after you have cropped the pic to the correct dimensions and byte size.

I use DropBox. I take the picture, share it to DropBox, and it syncs to my laptop immediately. Then on my PC I open it using the free PhotoScape image editor, crop/rotate/enhance as needed, then I reduce the size a bit, and save. Then in file explorer I right click on the image and select "copy dropbox link", then create a post, insert an image, paste the link, changing the end of the link from "dl=0" to "raw=1". Sounds difficult but it's a breeze after a couple of times. I can get an image posted within a couple of minutes after taking it. If you have a Mac instead of Windows laptop, you should be able to use their standard image editor. You could do this all from your phone but will be a bit more futzy.
