Trying to get some trades to go through, looking at what the other person has to figure out what I want, but what tools do you guys use to know what the bottle count of a certain release was?

Come from the brewery. For example RRBC made it known they bottled 1,000 cases of Beatification batch 5 meaning 12,000 beers.

Ok, but is this something you can just google? how often do they just let this out? I don't think I ever heard batch size of CR from the Bruery, just knew that RS members got 3 each and employees barely got one each, so I could do the math.

Yes you can Google it, read through the releases forum here, brewers blogs, etc. Sometimes you have to go by things like tickets and bottle limits, members and bottle limits, etc. Sometimes there is no concrete number to be found. Some people will post saying they heard it from someone at the brewery, but people don't put too much stock in that. Bottom line is that it is easier for some releases than others.

Also some brewers will hold a substantial number of cases and kegs back to use in house, festivals, competitions, etc. There can be a difference between how many bottles are produced, how much is released, and how much hits the trade market.
