Give me number 1 all day. I like coffee, I like chocolate and I like bourbon. But if I want those three things, the best place to get them is from a double espresso, a brick of 77% dark chocolate and a Basil Hayden's neat.

I was gonna pick "In my belly" but sadly that was not an option.
I've yet to have an imperial stout that I didn't like, so I reckon all of the above.

Yep. I like 'em all...depends on my mood. There are good choices among all these options!

Does roasted barley count as an adjunct?

Somewhere in there is a joke about "the same way I like my women..." but I'm going to leave that one alone.

My preference is #1 as a default with all other options a distant second and only rarely.

Another important distinction is my favorite ones are "less American" (i.e. NOT like Old Rasputin) than many that are out there today.

Good thought but the Reinheitsgebot doesn't distinguish b/t roasted or malted barley. Just says "barley".

Of course, it makes no mention of yeast either but it was pre-Pasteur so take that at face value.

I said #1 but truth is all of the above. If it is an unflavored impy stout I like roasty flavors like whats found in FIS and MZ

Someone smarter than me will have to comment on the origins of roasted barley but I've never seen it categorized as an "adjunct".

I like all of those options, but since I had to choose one I picked number 4.

Where's the "I don't give a rat's ass as long as it tastes great" option?

More so than coffee and chocolate! It's unmalted, and it's a source of fermentables.
