I'm looking at building a spreadsheet for upcoming, in progress and completed trades. It would cover what I have going on but also track what has been sent to me.

I would also have a tab for my traders to track their likes, dislikes, things they may have mentioned they are interested in obtaining and things they may have of interest for me on a future trade. I often get these tidbits in text or email conversations.

To be honest I should've been doing this all along...

How do you track these? Do you have a spreadsheet or some other template? Are you willing to share it?

I use Microsoft one note. It's free and cloud based. I can open it on any device and I can search trades.

I keep track of pending, shipped, and closed trades / purchases. It's been easy and a great resource.

I have a spreadsheet, but it's pretty bare-bones. More to help me keep track of what I'm sending in an open/pending trade situation. But it also serves as a record of what I've sent in the past as extras, whatnot for my RTPs.

As far as knowing likes/dislikes/etc--I only have a couple people to keep track of that are regulars in that regard, so it's easy enough. My main fear is sending something that I've sent before, but as noted, I track that.

I like the OneNote idea. Had not thought of it. It's a note per trader, with all the details. Good stuff.

I keep notes of all things pretty much ... It also lets me reference back to the person if I want to set up another trade. I also note if the trade was done through BA, FaceBook, in person, etc. It's a habit now and pretty much mindless once you've done a few dozen times

Here's a screen with some info removed, but you should get the idea.
