I got one as a freebie at a bottle shop a couple years ago. I like it alright, but I have better options and it always finds its way to the back of the cabinet as a result. This thread has inspired me to give it another try though!

Although a snifter is my choice of glassware I actually really like my can glass.

Doesn't really serve a purpose as far as the taste goes but it sure grabs the attention of some folks. Especially when it looks like JFK and Jackie O. [IMG]

I have a few that I have received for free. Great for guests who don't care or know better.

Might as well use a Mason jar as they're a bit thicker.

I like them, especially the ones I have which feel heavier than a shaker pint glass but look smaller. I like the lip around the rim, it tumbles the beer into my mouth. Your results may vary, but I can get my nose into it as I sip. They fit my hand better than a shaker pint glass, feels like I have a better grip on it. My local brewery had these made up, so not sure if we are all comparing different quality glasses here, but the ones I have are solid pieces of work, a substantial thickness approaching Mason jars but not quite, especially at the rim. It is almost impossible to accidentally tip one of these over because of the heavy base with straight sides it is never top heavy.

And one other thing, I often drink in the back yard (where it is hot nearly all year) and these easily fit those foam "koozies" as they were made for cans in the first place.

Not my favorite style of glass, especially for stouts or belgian ales, but for the keg beer in my home (IPA) I now grab these first over the shaker pints when I am going to be busy with my hands and walking around, playing bocce or working in the garage - they don't spill beer!

I've never seen these before, I'd get one as a novelty item

Not a fan both on aesthetics and the fact that never seem big enough to properly hold a 12oz can (or bottle) of beer -- just not enough space for the head.

How much head space do you need?

    Cheers!

More than a can glass gives me. The ones I've seen/used didn't even allow for a finger.

Needless to say but your can glasses are very different from my can glasses; mine accommodate a large head.

    Cheers!

    Love the "can" glassware!

Not a fan of the Mason jar glassware though. Too wonky on the mouth....

I got my "Fist City" can glass a few weeks ago for $1.99... Couldn't pass on it! Love me some Fist City and also wanted the glass... Cheaper than expected.

I like them a lot. I'm not huge on glassware expect for that I would much prefer a beer out of a glass than a can or bottle. I probably wouldn't dump a FBS in one but most beers I can see through I would. My only problem is that all the ones that I have seem to run across are pretty thin glass. I have never broken one *knocks on wood* but it seems it would be easier to break than a pint glass or mason jar. I'd probably take a mason jar over anything and then the can glass, the benefits being they are harder to spill.

I'd like to see these, love glass with cool art other than logos.

I finally got one as a freebie at a brewery I visited a few weeks ago. I gave it to my g/f to drink tea.
