How does one keep up on a bad ass cellar?

    2 words...Russian River. When they update, my cellar updates. So it stays pretty full.

    Most of that "new and amazing" beer is less amazing than the stuff getting brewed down the street. I used to have hundreds of bottles and spend thousands of $ for mostly average beer. I finally figured it out a few years ago, thankfully.

    It's been tougher in the past year. I don't really want to buy like three or four bottles of everything. My collection has gone from about seven or eight cases to closer to four. I haven't done a trade since June but I've been able to drink my collection down to the bottles that I absolutely cannot open, like Cantillons that I'm aging.
