Just post what you're looking for that's comparable to what you have or what you can get in the trading forum and see if anybody bites...Exchange addresses after you come to an agreement and anxiously wait for your box to arrive. It's like Christmas year round if you link up with a quality trader or two.

Tickets are no longer allowed. Coincidentally, I think it was the last DLD that caused this rule to be put in place.

To OP, a word of advice - (It seems that lately) You shouldnt bother trading unless you have Kate, something from HF, KBS, or a Lost Abbey rarity.

Don't discourage him. There is plenty of trading that is done for less-rare items or locals-for-locals or something along those lines. Sure, there's a lot of people chasing the really rare stuff and a lot of posts about that stuff, but don't discourage him from starting small if he wants to and looking for locals he cannot get or something along those lines. That's how almost all of us started at one point.

Oh i was saying that in jest, and I guess half-truth. You can certainly trade for smaller things. TO OP - trade!! its fantastic, and I hope my smug remark doesnt discourage you. In my short time here trading, I have landed some great beers, with just off the shelf midBest beers.

Oh okay. Well, I do know that some people share that view of the trading forums, so I was trying to provide some balance and to try and let him know that he's not going to get eaten alive (hopefully) if he tries it out.

Warning to OP: Beware, trading is very addictive and very fun.

Ignore all you have read above. The first step is to send me your top 3 beers. Upon receiving and approving them, I will email you a map. This map will lead you to a phone booth. If you don't know what a phone booth is, you are too young to start trading. When you get to the phone booth, look under the shelf and you will find another map and a key. You will see that this map is labelled in code. To get the key to the code, send me your next 2 best beers. Upon receiving and approving them, I will send you the key to the code. Following this second map will lead you to a locker at the airport. Use the key that came with the second map to open the locker. Inside, you will find a third map. Don't ask why there are so many maps, every other trader has gone through this so just deal with it. This map will lead you to a cave up in the hills. Enter the cave and follow it to its end. You will see a rope that drops down through a dark shaft in the floor of the cave. Climb down the rope to the bottom of the shaft. I realize the rope looks very worn and unsafe but every other living trader has gone through this and there is water at the bottom of the shaft so don't worry about it. When you hit the water, swim down to the bottom and feel around for a small wooden box. Bring the box back up, climb the rope up out of the shaft and walk out of the cave. Inside the box, you will find a cell phone. The phone has an access code which you don't have yet. Take the phone home and at this point you will need to acquire by any means possible a bottle of Hair of the Dog Dave. When you get this bottle, send it to me and I will give you the access code for the cell phone. Use speed dial #7 on the cell phone to call a man named Bitzy. He is waiting for your call and upon receiving it he will pick you up in a helicoptor and take you to the magical land of trading. Or, you can just check out Alewatcher's site:
