How does 'trustee-ing' usually work?

    I have the opportunity to join the Bruery Preservation Society but they only ship locally to CA. How does it usually work between a member and a trustee?

    You find someone willing to be your trustee. You provide their info to the brewery. The Trustee then picks up your beer (or in this case, has it shipped to them.) They in turn mail the beer out to you. You will be covering the cost of the membership and any typical expenses incurred by the trustee to get the beer to you (cost of a shipper if they have to buy one, shipping, etc.) It is up to you if you send your Trustee a thank you box(es) to thank them for the effort/time required to get you your beers safely and in a timely manner.
