There was a BA a few years ago (from TX I believe) who would make you an avatar if you described to him what you wanted (thanks again). I thought it would be cool to have one of my fave guitarists (Jimmy Page) to be playing one of my fave beers (Hopslam).

If you want to be known as an "old school sort of Marlon Brando fan" you may want to shorten the title you mentioned to "The Godfather". You can exercise your option towards me now.

He made it very easy too. I could have pretty much thought of anything and he would magically turn it into an avatar a couple hours later.

I had a lot of people make jokes about my mom early on, but it seems to have settled down.

I rotate between two or three during the year, usually Grateful Dead or Cleveland Indians related. I miss baseball, so my current one fit.
As far as online interactions, I’m surprised that when I use the Chief Wahoo that no one ever calls me out for using a “racist” image.
It was mind-fuck when @WesMantooth, @SomethingClever and others “appropriated” other user’s avatars for a day. Maybe April Fools last year?

Well mine is a photo I took of a garden gnome we had under a hydrangea in the front lawn. Both are gone now so I guess my avatar is nostalgic. Or as a Brazilian might say saudade.

Sorry, my memory always goes to Montenegro's "covers" because they were played on the radio -- and his name is fun to say.

How many of you objecting to an Avatar saying ‘Smash Capitalism’ would object to one saying ‘Smash Communism’?
    Be honest now.
It’s a massive subject if you ask me, what is truly apolitical. Using Abraham Lincoln, is that an endorsement of his political party or conveying a message of being proud to be American or the noble spirit of being fair & just.
What about Winston Churchill? He belonged to more than one political party, he sent tanks to break up strikers but also can be used to encapsulate never bowing to tyranny. It’s complex & has the danger of ushering in heavy handed modding.
What I say is ask yourself is this truly offensive & is it outweighing live & let live?

Every once in a while someone lets me know that they also love The Kids in the Hall. Cabbage Head was my previous one so I guess I have sort of a "theme" going with TKITH avatars. God I miss that show.

Only had to "exercise the option" twice in two years. One was a steroid raging maniac who said some awful things about me and my wife. The other was just a silly little troll.
    Cheers and good eye.
