I used belgianshop.com about a month back - they have a decent selection and I think I ended up spending around $75 for 3 375ml bottles (gueze, gambrinus de rose, kriek) with shipping taking around 3-4 weeks. Overall, a good experience and I'll hit them up again. If I remember right, they are currently offering free shipping if you order over $140 between now and 1/24.....PS - Make sure you get at least 1 bottle of Kriek! I haven't tried the others yet, but DAMN the Kriek was GREAT.

They get it in Quebec , problem is since it has become popular and flies off the shelf there also.

On a number of occassions I walked into Ramirez Liquor in LA and they would have 2012 2013 Kriek regularly and occassionally have others every other month. Now it isnt like that the whole city dried up Cantillon and seems it only appears during special sales and will see out withing a couple hours. If LA online retailers posts it for sale will be gone in less than 2 min

Tokyo was great for the standards - Rose, Kriek and Geueze are on the shelf at a place that is essentially the equivalent of 711...

Misleading, but not technically incorrect. Hm. Are you a lawyer, or perhaps holder of a degree in philosophy?

Japanese really do like Belgian beer so they get a good amount. You're still gonna have to hit up a liquor store for it, though.

Huh. Don't know about that unless you're importing privately as a club or something, but the SAQ don't get it so ain't nobody get it.

Beers that smell like a sweaty goat that rolled in horse poop demand top dollar and perma-whale status.

No they don't! I live in Quebec and this is 100% false. There is a private import club that very rarely makes orders through the SAQ, but you have to be a member and they don't ever shelve it. You will NEVER find it retail in Quebec. End of discussion.

A few bars sometimes have a couple of bottles, but that tends to be on special occasions at specific locations, such as at Dieu du Ciel on Zwanze Day. Otherwise, nope!

As others have stated, you'll only find it occasionally in Alberta and BC, but it flies off the shelves in most places. I don't doubt that there ARE still some places where it sits on a shelf, but I'd be highly surprised if anyone who knows of these places would just tell you.

Im sorry but www.belgianshop selling plain Cantillon yellow shirts for $65 and .75L cantilon for 65-$80 is ridiculous

we all know how much they sell at the brewery and i just bought a tshirt when i visited the brewery this past weekend and it only cost me 18 Euros. I cant see belgianshop selling much Cantillon at those prices IMO

I do understand the Americans paying it though. Biab charges ridiculous prices but apparently it's about the same as they're used to and it is quite easy.

That being said, the markup is just shameful. Wholesale prices, even across the border here in the Netherlands, are wayyy lower.

Saw a bottle of Cantillon Iris on Monday. Payday is tomorrow so I'm considering dropping $24 on a bottle.

$24 a bottle is not bad. Still about 3x as much as you'd pay at the brewery (6.50 Euro) but fair nonethelesss considering how hard it is to get.

For those that have used Belgium in a Box, how long does shipping usually take total? Also, has anyone done it in the winter? I'm afraid that the low ABV sours will freeze in the winter (shipping to OH) if it takes that long.
