If I buy the spout/faucet and had the Sankey valve already, how hard is it to buy the parts (stainless if possible) and make the tube?
not hard if you can get that specific part. my vendor has it. a coupler is less than $30, and the faucet would be around $20. so you aren't saving any great sum of money because you already have a coupler. you also need beer washers which are cheap. and beer nuts (hex nuts), which are also pretty cheap. and of course you need the faucet wrench if you don't have it already. there is no way to tighten the faucet without the wrench. by the time you part the thing out and build it yourself you're really just making life more difficult than it needs to be.
