How I named my son LIF....

    Seeing as I'm new to THIS site (but not beer trading in general) I think I need to kick it off right...

    I'm offering up a bottle of Odell's collaboration with Thornbridge Brewery in England...Pond Hopper Double Extra Pale Ale

    The bottle shop had one bottle of this, and as I really wanted to try it, I also really wanted to share with others...so here it goes...

    My wife and I had two beautiful little girls, then we found out there would be a third (and last) on the way...This was a little over 3 years ago...The day came to find out what we were having, and I jumped for joy when the nurse said it's a boy!

    We had a list of names, throwing them back and forth...finally decided on Aiden...
    Separately, though, we both felt it was a little pretentious for us (no offense to anyone out there named/or with a kid named Aiden, but it just wasn't for our little, munchkin)...Well, one night we were sitting on the couch watching a sporting game (i was, my wife was doing her best to ignore it), when the topic that neither of us was really comfortable with the name came up. We still had 2 months before the kiddo got here, and I suggested a name, just kind of threw it out there, and it stuck...

    So, what did we end up naming our son?

    -One guess per hint
    -Lower 48

    I'll start it off with 2 hints...

    1) My won will be 3 in October
    2) Name was influenced by someone who was on television at the time

    Judging by the title, I'm going to guess you named him "LIF" :wink:

    In all seriousness though, very awesome of you to come out of the gates swinging with a LIF!
