How is Black Butte XXIII drinking now?

    Anyone crack one open lately? How is it?

    I opened one a couple months ago and thought it was drinking very nicely. The peppers almost completely fell off, and just a bit of the orange remaining. Chocolate in the forefront. I think I enjoyed it aged more than fresh. Go ahead and drink one if you have it.

    It's great. XX is a over the hill, I put mine in the fridge about a year ago. XXI was the best it's evertasted last I tried it about a month ago. XXIII is fantastic right now. So far it's the second best in the series right behind XXI imo.

    It was great. Glad I cracked it then, I didn't see it getting any better with more age. Still just a bit of sweetness from the oranges and the pepper was still there a bit as well. Tasty indeed!
