I brewed several batches in the early 90s and restarted two years ago with much better results.

4 years, I remember posting on this forum for the first time like it was yesterday. Still get the same helpful answers (most of the time)

In dog years, I'm already dead.

    Almost 7 years...almost 150 batches.

In dog beers, I'm almost drunk.

Coming up on 2nd anniversary of my return to brewing, going all grain after my first batch. I don't brew often enough and every brew is an adventure and more times than not, a success.

Too long or not long enough. Depends on what day you ask me.

Started in the early 90s. 92 or 3, those years are a little fuzzy.

2 years and some change for me. Next batch will be #19. I took off the winter months since the last two years have been pretty brutal here and tough to keep temperatures where I need them.

Started brewing about 8 months ago and my 9th batch is ready to drink. Began with partial-volume extract + steeping grains, but my last two were BIAB all-grain. Starting to think I might stick with all-grain! It takes a bit longer, but it's more satisfying and I like being able to make a lighter-colored beer. I still have an awful lot to learn about brewing, but my recent failures have been better than my early successes, so I count that as a win.

I've been brewing for about 15 months now. I started with research in the summer of 2013, began brewing with extract and steeping grains January 2014 and upgraded to all-grain this December. 20 batches under the belt now and a solid schedule of brewing every other weekend. I love it so much that I'm seriously contemplating becoming a commercial brewer. (If only I knew I would have a passion for brewing before college. :grinning:)

I'm very lucky that we have a great brewing supply store with fresh ingredients and knowledgeable people. I'm also fortunate that my best friend is an incredibly clean person who helps me brew regularly and made me nail the sanitation aspect right off the bat. Between his obsessive cleaning and my obsessive reading, we've done really well. Only 2 batches that I was disappointed in and they were both drinkable.

Just under two years. All extract kits, 3-4 five gallon kits and a few one gallon kits. Bombed my first one gallon all grain. Hesitant to try it again, although I know thats where I need to be.

1 galloners leave little margin for error, maybe try 1.5 or 2. Seems like a small difference, but I find it a tad more forgiving
