Born Yesterday? Sure, one release every year. Stone is every month or two, now with two different beers;.

What's it matter? Breweries that make great beer and continue to make great beer shine no matter what. So, im not sure that "replicated" is the right word to use.

I'm really hoping that Enjoy By Unfiltered starts a bigger push from both Stone and other breweries to release similarly unfiltered beers into distribution. I think it's awesome what Stone is trying to do with getting fresh beer to the masses, and as this thread shows, it's clearly something people want.

Hoof Hearted is doing similar things. So is Other Half, Grimm, others. Stone released an unfiltered Enjoy By. This new brewery that opened in Herndon, VA called Aslin is trying to replicate hazy IPAs as well.

Come on guys, get real. Everyone, including Harv Bannister from Tipsy McStagger's, eventually finds out that the secret ingredient is cough syrup and that Moe actually stole the recipe from Homer.

I agree with your first part that the freshness is key and can't be duplicated. I really have to disagree with your analogy of "Farm to table". First this to me would indicate they cultivate their own hops. And second most of what is considered farm to table is udder bullshit unless you live in southern California or its May through September in New England. There are exceptions such as Melissa Kellys Primo in Maine where they have year round greenhouse and raise their own animals.
Anyhow we do have Tilted Barn in RI that actually grow hops in season and I assume store them. As far as I know Treehouse is not growing hops. No offense. You're right though the freshness concept is hard to duplicate.

Don't shoot me...but didn't one or a couple of the TH guys come from HF?
And there is some sort of a beef between the two? Recipes, etc were taken/memorized and/or "improved upon."

If this is true why are there so many shitty IPAs on the market? If I could replicate Heady why would I brew my own recipe? I'd opt for the easy route to brewing and distributing a world class beer, not the hard way.

This is in reference to the TH guys not coming from HF or not using the recipes?
Are none of them from there?

Go drink a freshly canned Raja DIPA, hazy tropical fruit bomb. Am I saying its better than TH Trillium or OH….no, I am saying that its damn great canned beer that I can pick up anytime to get my mid-atlantic IPA/DIPA fix out here in So Cal, and I do, thanks to some very generous friends, get to drink a lot of the above mentioned beers regularly, and I love them.

    Cheers………..

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, as this thread is 6 pages long and a bit old at this point too - but has anyone had Single Cut beers from Astoria. Their Softly Spoken Magic Spells is very similar to a TH IPA like Alter Ego. They are making excellent beers and distributing them in southwestern Connecticut. I do think there will be some distribution of Treehouse-esqu beers. After all, I can buy cans of Haze in Monson and keep them in my fridge for two months and they are still fantastic. I'm not seeing why distribution should ruin them, provided that they don't sit in a truck at 80 degrees for a few days. Maybe there's no temp control on beer distribution, I don't know.
