How many BAs have you met in real life?

Of course, some of you are aware @MUTINY and I have met a couple times. My GF has an account, if it hasn't been ended fir misuse, but that would be cheating for me (but maybe not MUTINY ).

Been a couple other attempts that didn't work out. Had about as brief a conversation as one can have with Sam of DFH at a pre-Extreme Beerfest event. Does that count ? I think it was @PuppyClawz that might have had a more interesting meeting with him.

At the event, Todd and Jason were there but I didn't speak with either at all, so that doesn't count, for sure.

 

Two so far, but I'm the one who convinced them to sign up. There are others who have said they would also sign up, but I can't count them yet.

 

I met a few...locals and one Out of Stater...I believe.

 

None yet, but I am new here!

 

I forgot, I did get a go-worker to sign up. I think he still uses the site for research, but hasn't done much reviewing or posting. Don't think I can count him, either.

 

None that I know of, but I haven't really been active on BA until recently.

 

Probably around 10ish for me.

 

I've done IP trades with 10 BA's and have met at least a dozen more on top of that.

 

I've met a bunch of local BA's, from my current area and my hometown of Memphis. Other than that I've done a few IP trades and met some great people on here. A few missed meet ups because of time constraints, but all in all I'd say somewhere in the 15-20 range.

 

When you're at a fest, how do you know who's a BA? What do you wear, badges or something? (cue the "we don't need no stinking get badges" comments!)

 

Willing to bet I've seen, met, or briefly chatted with other active BAs either at work, at beerfests, or in line at releases, but I've not yet made plans to meet anyone I've talked to here first. I'm a bit too reclusive.

Reminds me of my long-standing idea for a beer geek dating site or something. Don't know about you guys, but I'd be just desperate enough to try one...Now to go quietly sob into my Julius.

 

Around 20 , made some really good friends off of this site I will have for the rest of my life

None that I know of, but it's possible that I've talked to some at bars without realizing it.

 

Met a few, but there are so many knowledgeable BAs that I would love to get a beer with and pick their brains.

 

Only personally met one, LAND_MINE, who shares amazing beers with me. I would love to meet more in person and enjoy beers with them.....Thanks, LAND_MINE, for all you do.........

Y'all should meet @SteveB24 he's a real BA and is happy to share the biggest whales even with people who have no idea about the craft.
