How many Beats for 1 Rare

The demand for Rare is there, if I were to take a shot in the dark, I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't started getting more Pappy barrels to remake the beer.

Beatification for sure will be made again. If I recall, Vinnie has been making the Sonambic with his coolship as soon as he got it months ago. The question is when. The beer takes barrels ranging from around 8 months to 2 years. Not only that, but they let that sit in bottles for quite some time before release. My best guess for another batch would be around March 2014, but I could be wrong.

I'm not trying to Bring the value of Rare down or up the value of the Beat. Just going by past examples of trades that I know went down, and how the demand for Beat keeps getting nuts. I have noticed that others trying the 3:1 Beat for Rare are having a tough time getting it done, but it may just take a little push from the Beat side to get done.

All I know is that I look forward to enjoying both beers in the future. I got Beats to share, and a handful of my friends have some Rares to share too. It's a lot easier doing mutual sharing than it is trading these days. Far too many people are trying to play the market.

 

also, the "mutual sharing" version of trading, where you give beatification for some random "lower valued beer," and when the receiver's local brewery has some hot shot beer, he hooks you up for some random "lower valued beer." AKA "trading," in some circles [smile face--right now i can't stand the graphics for some reason].
