None. Too crowded with beards and lines everywhere. Amateur hour basically.

I guess I went to 2 last year, Crafts and Drafts and Great Taste. Would do both again- great beer lists, minimal asshats. Plus it was a beautiful day for GTMW.

Pretty much these 3 every year:
Festival der Bierkulturen in Cologne, Germany at the end of May
Brews for New Avenues in Portland, Oregon
Borefts at De Molen in Bodegraven, Netherlands

This year with its return I will also be going to ACBF (Alvinne Craft Beer Festival) near Kortrijk, Belgium.

I average 1-3 each year. My group tends to enjoy visiting breweries with tap rooms more than doing events all the time.

I'd say I got to 2-3 on average per year. I'm much more interested in bottle shares. Have those on a weekly basis.

2-3 per year. Going to the Beer Dabbler in St Paul this Saturday. I've been to GABF the last 2 years. I'd like to attend a release party, debating Hunahpu with that ridiculous pour list.

This is how I feel about it as well. Not to mention that, at the ones I've been to, 95% of the stuff offered are things I can pick up at the store whenever.

I've gone to 2 in the last 3 years. Locally there are a couple of fests yearly, but I think I prefer going to a good brewery tap take over somewhere as the fests do not tend to have as much stuff that is hard to get and not as relaxing

Would rather spend the money on growler fills at one (or more) of Mass's excellent breweries. I went to a couple Harpoon and Sam Adams fests when I was younger, but those don't appeal to me anymore. I don't plan to go to any fests in the near future.

I always make it to at least one Michigan Brewers guild beerfests a year. They are epic because it is only local breweries from my home state, plenty of rare beer to be had, the lines move at a decent pace and a lot of the smaller breweries have no lines at all!

I also usually go to the Kuhnhenn winter solstice party but that is always unorganized and a bit chaotic but still worth it if you aren't a Debbie Downer.

Usually about three to four. Great taste in Madison. firkin fest in St Paul, and maybe a couple of others depending on the breweries attending. I used to go to more but the ones that end up being drunk fears just aren't fun for me anymore. Much rather go to ones where I can get stuff from breweries that are new to me and try different styles of beer that I typically don't purchase.

FoBAB is a must for me, and DLD is pretty high up there, too (only thing that sucks about DLD is the logistics of getting there and back). After that, there's GI's anniversary party, and I usually try to go to one or two neighborhood fests.

In general I'm not a huge fest guy, but I've had so much fun in the recent ones I've gone to, that it's made me re-evaluate.

I go to 2 every year that are relatively small. I get the tickets for my birthday presents so it's a pretty sweet deal for me. Occasionally I'll feel motivated enough to get tickets for the Great Taste of the Midwest, but no one ever wants to go with me. I went this past year alone, and while it was awesome, I probably won't do it again. I've made the trip to the Great Nebraska Beerfest a few times as well as I have family down there, but it's nothing to write home about.

Long story short - 2 per year.

5 last year. Good and bad with all of them, but overlook the bad. Usually several beers that I have been wanting to try and are not distributed in this area.

No vote for less than one? You may want to change that.

That being said, I attend on average about .2 beer fests per year.

There is one I go to every year in my city and this year a 2nd one debuted. If the new one becomes an annual event, then I will attend 2 a year.

1-3, but they seem to be growing in popularity. If the tap lists keep pace, the participation will have to follow.

Another reason I feel a little bad for folks who don't live in the PNW. Except around the holidays, there is at least one fest pretty much every weekend up here. The vast majority are well-run events, with a minimum of Aholes. My little town alone has about 6. I generally end up going to about 10-12 a year. One of my favorites is this weekend, but I won't be going, StrangeBrew Fest, in Port Townsend, WA. Then next week is Belgianfest, and then we get into the fest season again! Yeah Beerfests!!!!
