How many beers do you drink a week?

I must always be on vacation.

 

10-15. 15+ some weeks if you count bombers and 10%+ beers as two.

 

One beer per day will keep the doctor away! (let's wish)

 

So we have almost an entire page worth of members claiming to only have 'one' beer at night. Wow, very hard to believe.


I drink about 4-6 beers a night.

 

Dang, I thought survey read how many "new" beers a week, and thought I was safe at 4-5. Quantity wise, dang, way more than 4-5.

 

Just enough!

Not alone Brother! I drink Til' my Depression is gone...which is usually after 4 beers a day.

 

Im tending to believe many of these saying this must be bombers they are talking about. Which obviously would be 4 beer equivalent. Not counting high ABV. Just look at posts on WBAYDN and it seems to defy the poll. I wont give you my exact amount but will tell you if you look at government recommendations I'm way over in what I should be consuming on a weekly basis. This is not good and would never insinuate its healthy but I'm an excercise addict (am) and I haven't had a cold or the flu in over 2 years. And I ain't a spring chicken
Bottom line everyone needs to think in moderation which is tough with all the awesome availability of beers.

 

I too have this. It works for me to have a few beers and (ahem). For me the lesser of 2:evils . thoroughly enjoy some of the many styles of beers available or take "a pill". You know where I'm at...

 

I voted 5-10. Probably closer to 10 most weeks. I work night shift, so I tend not to drink during the week. I'll have 4 or 5 on Friday and Saturday nights most weeks.


I'm not sure why some find it hard to believe that there are those of us that only drink one or two on any given night. It's not that hard to stop after one or two, and if it is you probably need to evaluate your alcohol consumption.

 

I feel you. Right now I have some Blue Dream after this other Anchor Flying Cloud. It works for me man! Cheers!

generally 2-3 a nite, however I reserve the right to over indulge on the weekends.

 

About 4 (12oz.) per week on average and 1 bomber per week. All over 10% abv.

 

i'm a homebrewer. too much.

 

Thinking about getting the house plumbed for hot and cold running beer.

 

1-5 if we're counting bottles. if we're talking about a serving of alcohol it goes up to the upper end of moderate consumption.

 

It varies but I like to keep it around 5. Trying to cut back on weeknight drinking.
