How many beers do you drink a week?

You're the first one that really mentioned this, I agree, I think it depends on the octane of the beer vs. the quantity. If I were hitting a big number of high octane beers in a week vs. the same number of lower octane beers, my liver would probably hate me!!!

 

we've got our steady boozers, our two-night-a-week wild men, (i can see this, i guess, if you are stuck in some up tight job or something and then all week you save up for two days of binge drinking) -- the dieticians/moderates..... and then you get into those in recovery and then, finally the people that "don't drink beer much" anymore.....? it's beeradvocate dot com. did you miss a turn somewhere?

Generally about one a night on average. So probably about 6-10 per week. Although if I'm drinking more "session" type beers, then that number goes up.

I used to do 2-4 a night, but my body can't handle it anymore -- I feel like garbage the next day. Even a high-gravity bomber is pushing it now. I have to make sure I drink a lot of water or else I'll suffer for it.

 

I thought we were all about "quality over quanity" here. I have 2-5 a week on average and on most three day weekends my friends and I have a "beer smattering" were I'll have 4-10 that afternoon. Point being good is better than plenty. And moderation allows me to be a responsible grown-up and a beer lover!

0 - 15 depending on what I am doing. I only drink if I go out with friends and if no one is doing anything that week I don't drink at all.

 

Now that it's summer and really hot I'm having Sunday and Weekend sessions pretty often.

Especially with the music scene so good these last few months I've been having a lot more beer. But when next season comes around it'll be quieter. Always drink the most in summer.

 

I average about 3-4 pints per week, depending on the weekend/week/time of year. Summers are usually my higher beer consumption months. It looks like a lot of people on here drink 20-50 per week. I don't know how their pocket books handle it as it can get pretty pricey. Also, I am a college lecturer I have to keep my head clear. If I drink too much then I wouldn't be able to do my job the next day.

 

I tend to have about 2-3 12 oz bottles a week on average. Every now and then I'll go through a sixer in a week. I really try to moderate myself, too much of a good thing etc...

 

I usually have about 5-7 per week.

At least one a night. Depends on how much beer I have. Let's say around 15. Some days I have more than one.

 

I am on a diet right now...trying to cut back...so now I'd say on average 12-18 a week.
