How many beers do you drink a week?

At this moment near the end of a rotten day at work - not enough!

 

Honest, liars or alcoholics? I see this thread going no where.

 

Probably around 25.

 

Too many, but also not enough.

 

Probably about 7 or 8 if I don't go out. I also drink wine though.

I only drink twice a week; Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday.
Seriously, between 6 & 10 beers.
Does anyone know how good/bad/indifferent various craft beers are for your helath? Obviously I don't mean binging on large amounts.

 

"A beer" covers a very large range of possibilities. it could be a half pint of bitter running at 3.2%, or it could be a 750 of BT. So when people say one or two or ten or twenty, I guess that doesn't tell much.

Assuming "a drink" is equivalent to a 12oz bottle @ 5% ABV beer, I'd say a normal week would be about 15-20.

A couple years ago 10-15 a week...then found out how great beer can really be and it got to 25-30 quickly. Now, I'm attempting no alcohol during the week. Feel much better in the mornings, and damn my AMEX bill has shrunk.

I'd say 5-10 now.

 

I believe in the US, the standard guideline is 2 a day or 14 a week. A standard drink is considered a 12 pour of 5 or so percent beer.

 

15 during the week in the winter 25 a week in the summer. When the weather gets warmer the drinking goes up.

 

Some weeks I'll drink the equivalent of 9-10 12oz bottles, and other weeks it's 3-5. On average I'd say those beers usually run about a 6.5% ABV. Really depends on whether or not I go to the pub, once or twice, during the week because I usually have 2-3 at the pub during a trip, and 1-2 bottles at the house that average 8% ABV over the course of a week.

 

To me "a beer" is 0.5 liters of beer.
From Monday through Thursday night I probably average 0-4 beers.
Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon the average is probably 4-10. That is unless I go out with my Irish mates in which case it's anybody's guess.

Also, the overwhelming majority of my beers are between 4.0 and 5.0% abv.

 

I am probably at 7-9 per week. I love beer and it's hard since I have a dual tap at the house. However, it's important to consider that there are long term consequences of regular use. My thought is, keep it in moderation until fun parties, eat well, excersize and get annual physicals with blood analysis to ensure no liver or pancreatic issues.

 

I drink 5 or 6 beers per week now. I used to binge drink on the weekends but luckily made some changes. I enjoy beer a lot more in moderation now.

To many...I have been know to soak in the tub with a good ale or drink a cold one while showering...especially after mowing the grass on a hot summer day...anyone else or is it just me? You should see the looks I get from my wife

 

Pay her no heed. Shower beer is a unique joy that hurts no one.
