How many beers do you drink a week?

About 6 beers per week for me.

 

Impressive, sir.

2-3 a week. I try to limit myself to 1 per night, only the weekend, unless it's a special occasion.

 

20-30...but there are two BA's in my house. I think we spend as much on beer as we do on the Mortgage. For shame. Just kidding we are awesome.

 

6-8, depending on the size . . . of the week.

 

Been detoxing myself for a bit so I'm down to under 4 a week. Usually 1 on a weeknight and few Friday or Saturday.

 

I d say around 15-20 now in my late 40s. I saw someone at the beginning of the post was drinking that many at 21. Kind of embarrassed to admit in my teens I was drinking about 2 cases a week. That stopped when my mom suggested I go to rehab at 17. A mother's guilt is magical, God rest her soul.

 

Around 10. I drink 1 pretty much every night, and then a couple more on weekends.

 

This weekend, I had two 22 oz bombers (both around 10% ABV) and a 16.9 oz bottle (about 8%). I didn't have anything during the week leading up to that.

That was a little light, as I tend to have one or two throughout the week and two or three during the weekend.

So... usually about 4-5 a week? If there's a bottle share or bar/brewery event, though, I certainly indulge a lot more.

 

I'm to embarrassed to say. I resemble my avatar most weekends!

 

Around 30.

 

In college I was doing about 40 miller lites a week. Since then i was doing 10 to 15 a week (more during football season). Now that I have a 3 week old child I'm down to 7 to 10 a week.

 

It depends on how much I'm exercising. If I go for my 5 mile run, I will usually refrain from having any that night. If I miss the run due to work, weather, responsibilities, etc. I will usually have 1 or 2 on a weeknight. If it's the weekend maybe 3. On days that I brew or if I'm attending some sort of beer event I could go as much as 5 or 6.

 

A hell of a lot more ever since I starting regularly participating in the "What Beer Are You Drinking Now" thread.

 

Mebbe 1-2 a few days a week and 3-4 Fri-Sun. My budget doesn't really allow for more.

 

6 to 10 a week, mainly Fri, Sat, Sun
Almost all are higher ABV too, so more would be a problem.

 

How are people drinking 30-50?? I find those people way more ridiculous than those who might be underselling how much they actually drink. Im at 15-20 as a 22 yr old. Dont get me wrong Ive put down a 30 pack in a week, but not on a consistent basis, especially not with craft. 30 plus consistently just can't be healthy.

 

Six to eight on average. More when on cut loose weekends, you know, bad work week. Out with friends, holidays and vacations too. Maybe it's more on average!

 

Around 12 - if it's 5% 12 oz it'd be more, but don't go above 7% that much.
